First, I started at midnight, I struggled to get the opportunity to take part in the August 17 2018 Ceremony at the Jakarta State Palace.
When I was still in the village, I often watched live broadcasts on television. The flag ceremony every August 17 held at the State Palace in Jakarta, from there I was very eager to feel what it felt like. there are many great people there and can meet with the leader of the country there too.
Anyway, I forgot to introduce myself so that the reader also knows that who wrote this story, my name is Junaidin, usually called my friends, Jun. ) precisely in the city of Bima entered on Sumbawa Island, I was a nomad from the village to Jakarta, (although it was too late to come to Tangerang).
For years I have traveled from village to city to be around 14 years, until finally I just ventured to try to send a letter to the State Palace so that I could take part in the flag ceremony at the State Palace, maybe many readers would say Why Should I be afraid People just send This letter is right, in my mind it is not a matter of fear of being rejected or not granted by the letter. But it is not a fear of straying in the city of Jakarta. And being afraid of getting into the State Palace is afraid of being evicted. frankly, even though it has been a long time ago, but to go to Jakarta is rare, even so, it is a public bus that obviously I don't know.
Thank God I am not stupid - so stupid because maybe a strong desire to be able to participate in the 2018 flag ceremony is the way my brain goes and think how to enter the letter. Request to join the ceremony, so I can get there by using the Grab car service or usually said (online taxi).
Long story short, I went to the State Palace to deliver a letter. It was approximately 1 month before August 17, 2018, and Alhamdullah smoothly, even though there I asked a lot - ask the staff there. How to enter the letter. on the phone by a court officer that my letter was approved, from there it was great to be happy even I could ask if I could still enter another letter for my brothers and the officer said it was still possible But the officer could not promise that it would be approved or not by the leader, but he basically still allows to submit another application.
In order to keep the story long, the time arrived around 3 days before the ceremony on August 17, I was called by an official from the State Palace that I was asked to take an invitation to join the ceremony on August 17 and thank God also the Request for Two invitations to my brother was also agreed I finally brought go home 2 invitations to join 4 people (1 invitation 2 people). There I read that the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, and the First Lady invited me to write on my behalf to attend the Red and Red and White Flag Drop ceremony at the State Palace of Jakarta. Alhamdullah is happy.
Until August 17, 2018, I and my brother 3 people because of the invitation I got 2, we left around 10 am From Tangerang to Jakarta, why did we leave early in the morning? intentionally because Jakarta is stuck And all of us can pray Friday (Incidentally August 17 this time 2018 right on Friday) at the istiqlal mosque in Jakarta (which is said to be the biggest mosque people in Asia).
After completing the Friday prayers at Jakarta's Istiqlal Mosque, the four of us went straight to the State Palace because there was still noon there. We were still preparing for the ceremony. So we took advantage of the opportunity to take photos.
Up to 2 hours before the event began, we entered the area of the State Palace and followed the ceremony with great pride in the extraordinary because the struggle to achieve this desire was granted by Allah, and Allah also we could see, feel and enjoy the Red and White flag ceremony. directly in front of our eyes, we also had the opportunity to shake hands directly with Mr. Joko Widodo, the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, before the ceremony began around beforehand to greet the people present at that time despite the pressure of the press.
This is a learning story, even though just taking part in a ceremony at the State Palace, some people are ordinary things, but it is an extraordinary thing for some other people to feel that moment, so if the intention and desire are accompanied by courage to do and make it happen then there is no that is impossible that we will succeed.
